Picture of the Day 08 – Private Grief
2006 September 11
Today is September 11th 2006, the 5th anniversary of the beginning of the world we live in.
Everyone in the world has memories and emotions of this day, but my overriding feeling today is of sadness.
Sadness at what happened that terrible day, sadness at what has happened since and sadness at what our future almost certainly holds.
Rest in Peace my brothers and sisters. Although I never knew you, I feel great sadness at your passing.
